TMG deploys 633 citizen observers for the 2013 Anambra Governorship Election

For the 16 November 2013 Anambra State Governorship Election, the Transition Monitoring Group (TMG) deployed 633 citizen observers across all three senatorial districts and all 21 local government areas of the state, using a Quick Count methodology.
Following the election, TMG issued a statement confirming that the official results as announced by INEC on 18 November 2013 accurately reflected the votes cast. TMG also issued pre-supplementary and post-election briefings covering the supplementary election of 30 November 2013.
