Deploying nonpartisan citizen observers to monitor elections — pre-voting, election-day and post-voting — using structured checklists and reporting tools to document the conduct of elections across Nigeria.
Civic & Voter Education
Building citizens' understanding of their electoral rights and responsibilities through civic education, voter education materials and grassroots organising.
Advocacy & Campaigns
Advocating for human-rights-compliant, people-oriented legislation, electoral reform, accountability, transparency and responsiveness among political leaders and public institutions.
Research & Documentation
Producing election observation reports, communiqués, checklists and publications; convening national stakeholders' conferences and press briefings.
Coalition Building
Fostering coordination among over 400 member organisations to engage political institutions at all levels, and building capacity of member organisations.
Inclusion
Promoting the participation of women and other marginalised, disenfranchised and disempowered groups in governance and politics.
